Sodium chloride, 0.9 % isotonic solution for infusions
There is sodium chloride in blood plasma (about 0.5%) and tissue fluid of an organism. It is one of the main non-organic components supporting osmolality of blood plasma and extracellular water.
Isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution is used as plasma-substituting fluid in case of endogenous and exogenous toxicosis, for correction in cases of dehydration, hypochloremic alkalosis, for dissolving and dilution of medicinal preparations. The isotonic solution of sodium chloride is also used to bathe wounds, conjunctivas, abdominal and pleural space, vagina, urinary bladder, for moistening bandaging material.

Glucose, 5% solution for infusions
Glucose belongs to simple sugars. It is a substance of high energy value and its metabolism process produces substantial energy which is used to provide for all body functions. Glucose participates in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes in an organism, improves antitoxic function of liver, intensifies contractive activity; under its influence blood vessels widen as well as diuresis increases.
5% glucose solution is isotonic to human blood plasma. The solution is used as plasma-substituting fluid in case of body dehydration. Besides it is the source of precious nutrient which is easily assimilable by organism.
Isotonic glucose solution is used as plasma-substituting solutions in case of blood loss, burns, endogenic and exogenic toxicosis, for treating collapse and shock. It is used for dissolving and diluting of medicinal preparations.

Inhibitors of fibrinolysis
5 % solution of aminocapronic acid for infusions
Amino caproic acid inhibits the activity of proteolytic enzymes, inhibits the effect of endogenous kinases on the process of fibrinolysis and interrupts transition of plasminogen to plasmin. Besides it partially inactivates the action of the plasmin. Amino caproic acid has a specific hemostatic effect in case of bleeding due to the activation of fibrinolysis.
Other mechanisms are involved in the activation of hemostatic effect of amino caproic acid. Thus, it lowers the activity of hyaluronidase and reduces the permeability of capillaries. In addition, amino caproic acid increases the adhesive activity of platelets, increases the synthetic and detoxic liver function. Inhibiting the activity of proteolytic enzymes (kallikrein, trypsin, chymotrypsin, plasmin, etc.) amino caproic acid inhibits the formation of kinins (bradykinin and kallidin). Therefore, it is used in pathological conditions, when there is increased activity of kinin system (sever pancreatitis, extensive burns, shock, trauma surgery on parenchymatous organs, etc.). Amino caproic acid inhibits the formation of antibodies and prevents the activation of the complement system, so it is used in cases of severe allergies to eliminate or prevent the phenomena cytolysis and formation of immune complexes. Amino caproic acid has low toxicity.

Ringer – bicarbonate, solution for infusions
Ringer's solution is a plasma substitute of complex composition. It is isotonic to human plasma. Conditionally Ringer's solution can be condidered as physiological, but it does not contain the full range of salts, which are in human plasma. Although the biological effect of Ringer's solution is determined by the full range of its constituent ingredients, the main salt component which provides isotonicity of the preparation to plasma is sodium chloride. Ringer's solution provides hemodynamic action. It reduces hypovolemia, improves microcirculation, prevents the development of syndrome of intravascular coagulation and the formation microclots. Ringer's solution has detoxication effect and enhances diuresis.

Antibacterial, antiprotozoal agent for systemic use
0.5 % Metronidazole solution for infusions
Metronidazole is an effective pluripotential antiprotozoal and antibacterial preparation. Mechanism of metronidazole action is in biochemical restoration of 5-nitrogroup of metronidazole by intracellular transport proteins of anaerobic microorganisms and protozoa. The restored 5-nitrogroup of metronidazole interacts with DNA of microorganism inhibiting the fusion of nucleic acids resulting in bacteria destruction.
0.5% metronidazole solution for infusion is indicated for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases that are caused by sensitive to it anaerobic microorganisms: abdominal infections (including peritonitis, abscesses of abdominal cavity and liver), pelvic infection (including endometritis, ovarian abscesses and Fallopian tubes, postoperative complications), infection of the lower respiratory tract (including pneumonia, empyema, lung abscess), infections of the skin, bones, sepsis, endocarditis, CNS infections (including meningitis, brain abscess). Prevention of infectious complications in surgical interventions on the intestines, gynecological surgeries.
