Process

The production line for infusion solutions in polyethylene packing was commissioned in August 2008. The main advantage is full compliance with GMP requirements.

Pure water and water for injection used in the production is produced by multistep process. The water to be treated goes to the ultrafiltration unit. Here the water flows through filters and is purified from slats and impurities.

Then the water goes to the reverse osmosis station. Here the water flows under the high pressure through the osmotic membrane, filtrating dissolved matters and microorganisms and due to it the water is additionally purified.

Water for injections is produced on the distillation unit. The distilled water goes to the distribution system and then to the preparation site.

In the preparation site water is mixed with powder concentrate in big tanks.

The raw materials are weighted by electronic weights and further the process is controlled electronically.
Preparation is controlled by the computer. The operator monitors only the readings. Then the ready solution is fed to the filling site.
The filling site is equipped with two BFS machines from Weiler (USA) and 2 caps welding machines.

Blow-Fill-Seal machine blows bottles from the melted granulated polyethylene and immediately the solution is filled and the bottles are sealed at once. As the whole process is completed within seconds and the filling room is clean (class A) the sterility of the solution is guaranteed.

The cap welding machine is installed on the line after the BFS machine. The bottles with welded caps go to the visual control.

The visual control line is intended for detecting any sediments or particles in the solution. after that the bottles are put on the pallets and loaded into the autoclave for thermal treatment.

The autoclave is in automatic operation mode. The operator has to choose necessary programme only and control the sensor readings

The final stage of the production is marking and packing of the products. The bottles are automatically labeled. The printer prints expiry date and batch number on the label.

Finally the bottles with labels are packed into the cartons on the cartoner machine. The machine sets the bottles, puts the instruction leaflet and seals the carton boxes.

The cartons are transported to the warehouse where they are kept before dispatch.
