Sodium chloride, 0.9 % isotonic solution for infusions
There is sodium chloride in blood plasma (about 0.5%) and tissue fluid of an organism. It is one of the main non-organic components supporting osmolality of blood plasma and extracellular water.
Isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution is used as plasma-substituting fluid in case of endogenous and exogenous toxicosis, for correction in cases of dehydration, hypochloremic alkalosis, for dissolving and dilution of medicinal preparations. The isotonic solution of sodium chloride is also used to bathe wounds, conjunctivas, abdominal and pleural space, vagina, urinary bladder, for moistening bandaging material.

Glucose, 5% solution for infusions
Glucose belongs to simple sugars. It is a substance of high energy value and its metabolism process produces substantial energy which is used to provide for all body functions. Glucose participates in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes in an organism, improves antitoxic function of liver, intensifies contractive activity; under its influence blood vessels widen as well as diuresis increases.
5% glucose solution is isotonic to human blood plasma. The solution is used as plasma-substituting fluid in case of body dehydration. Besides it is the source of precious nutrient which is easily assimilable by organism.
Isotonic glucose solution is used as plasma-substituting solutions in case of blood loss, burns, endogenic and exogenic toxicosis, for treating collapse and shock. It is used for dissolving and diluting of medicinal preparations.

Glucose 20% and 40%
Glucose belongs to simple sugars. It is a substance of high energy value and its metabolism process produces substantial energy which is used to provide for all body functions. Glucose participates in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes in an organism, improves antitoxic function of liver, and intensifies contractive activity. Strong (hypertonic) glucose solution has an express salt action. Intravenous injection of 20% and 40% glucose solution increases flow from tissues to blood vessel and so they are dehydrated. Hypertonic solution of glucose assists to widen blood vessels and to increase diuresis.

Hemodez
Hemodez has disintoxicational effect, improves the rheological properties of blood. Pharmacological effect of the medicine is conditioned primarily by low-molecular polyvinylpyrrolidone, which has the ability to bind toxins directly in the bloodstream and quickly excrete them from the body.
It should be noted that not all toxins are neutralized by hemodez solution to the same extent. It is significant that the solution more complete neutralizes the toxins which circulate in the blood of patients with dysentery, salmonellosis, food intoxication. It is known that in case of burn disease different toxins are produced during different periods of the disease are produced. Those that are formed within first 4-5 days of illness are fully inactivated by hemodez solution. The toxins produced later are neutralized much weaker. However, all patients with burn disease who are treated with infusions of hemodez solutions show improvement.
The toxins produced in the body of patients with severe radiation sickness are not neutralized by "Neohemodez, but the solution contributes to their more rapid excretion from the body.
An important property of the preparation is its ability to eliminate the stasis of erythrocyte in capillaries, growing in case of intoxication of any origin. The elimination of stasis of erythrocytes under the influence of hemodez leads to improvement of microcirculation, and high colloid-osmotic activity of the drug causes the transition of extracellular fluid in the blood vessel and helps to restore blood volume.
Application of hemodez to the patients with endogenous or exogenous intoxication contributes to the restoration of impaired blood flow and improvement the functions of vital organs and body systems.
Hemodez solution is non-toxic. It does not have antigenic and pyrogenic activity.
The volume of distribution of hemodez corresponds to the extracellular fluid, since it is distributed only in extracellular sector. The preparation does not penetrate through cell membranes and tissue barriers. "Hemodez" is not metabolized in the body. The solution is excreted mainly through the kidneys (up to 80% within 4 hours) and partially through the intestines.
